Estate Planning & Trusts
When most people hear "estate planning" they think of Wills, but an estate plan is more than just something that takes effect at your death; it also includes important documents if you lose the ability to make decisions for yourself or your dependents during life. At the Katie R. Robinson Law Firm, PLLC, we work with clients to prepare Wills, Powers of Attorney, Medical Directives, Trusts, and more. Already have an estate plan? We will also review existing documents to make sure they still align with your goals.
Probate & Trust Administration
Executing estate plans is just the beginning. After your death, your estate will need to be settled, either through the probate process, trust administration, or other means. At the Katie R. Robinson Law Firm, PLLC, we help executors navigate the probate process under the Texas Estates Code to settle estates, and assist trustees with administering trusts. If a loved one dies without a Will, we can also help identify whether probate alternatives are available, or court involvement is necessary.
